FILM | Free Outdoor Film Screening: Pee-wee's Big Adventure
Cheap movie Tuesday is heading outside for the summer with a long list of outdoor screenings that begin tonight in Dundas Square. Man-child Pee-wee Herman goes on a cross-U.S. adventure in Pee-wee's Big Adventure, a 1985 Tim Burton film starring Paul Reubens and co-written by Phil Hartman. If you can ignore the light pollution, show up with a chair at sundown and watch as Pee-wee searches for his stolen bike.

FILM | 9th Annual ReelHeART International Film Festival
The heart of a film is its story and with the continuation of the ReelHeART International Film Festival tonight, there will be plenty of stories to choose from. This selective festival screens films at several locations, including Big Picture Cinema (1035 Gerrard Street East) and Harbourfront Community Centre (627 Queen's Quay West), with stories like Prodigy, American Dream and Children Without Parents being showcased. The festival runs until Saturday with different films screening daily.

LECTURES | Game Changer: Blackflies, Photographs & Climate Change
Experts of mismatched fields, practitioners of divergent topics and enthusiasts of opposing practices are thrown together in Game Changer, the ROM's newest lecture series. Tonight, two speakers will make short presentations on their fields and then relate them to a third, which is why this event is titled Blackflies, Photographs & Climate Change. Dr. Deepali Dewan, Senior Curator, South Asian Arts and Culture and Dr. Doug Currie, Senior Curator, Entomology will each spend 15 minutes on their studies before linking art and science to common ground. Light refreshments will be served.
Royal Ontario Museum (100 Queen's Park) 7PM $15

BOOKS & LIT | In Conversation: Kenneth Goldsmith with Christian Bรถk
Experimental poet Kenneth Goldsmith and prize-winning author Christian Bรถk participate in the Authors at Harbourfront Centre lecture series by joining together for an evening of discussion and reading. Both early founders of the conceptual writing movement, Goldsmith and Bรถk will give an overview of the history of conceptual literature before reading from texts.
