COMEDY | That's What SHE Said
An evening of hilarity for a great cause is going down at Hugh's Room tonight! Gilda's Club is the "cause" - a non-profit charitable organization (named after Gilda Radner, the trail blazing female comic from the '70s cast of SNL), where cancer survivors and their families can meet, interact, and understand more about this disease. Proceeds from both ticket sales, and a silent auction (to be held at the event tonight) will be donated to Glida's Club of Greater Toronto. You don't want to miss this stellar lineup of female comic talent, including special guest Sandra Shamas, and headliner Nikki Payne.
Hugh's Room (2261 Dundas Street West) 8:30PM (dinner @ 6:30PM) $30 (show only)

MUSIC | Elvis Mondays
Another edition of everyone's fave weekly indie-rock extravaganza that *always* delivers. This week's offerings include People of Canada, Anemics, New/France, Ophelia Syndrome, Petty Victories, and Kira Sheppard.
The Drake Hotel (1150 Queen Street West) 9PM FREE

CLUBS | ReBoot Mondays
Catch Part One of this good-spirited DJ competition, as Linguist, O-God, Cameron Scott, and Twono pump out two 30-minute sets each. Criteria for deciding tonight's winner? The DJ's "technical skills", and your applause, plus responses on feedback ballots. The winner tonight will move on to part 2 next week.
Andy Poolhall (489 College Street) 10PM FREE

MUSIC | The OCADU Project
Continuum Contemporary Music and the Ontario College of Art and Design have teamed up to present this interesting musical event this evening. The relationship between visual art and our perception of music is explored by the OCANDU project, where visual art students in their final year at OCAD choose the programming for this concert and also provide programming notes and essays without any knowledge on the biographical information on the composers or their works. The students have only their listening skills, and their knowledge of visual art as tools and resources.
The Music Gallery (197 John Street) 8PM $25 ($15 students/seniors/art workers)
