Sprockets Tickets On Sale Tomorrow

Sprockets Family Programme Tickets on Sale

There's just over a month left until Sprockets, the Toronto International Film Festival for Children, and I'm excited.

While many film festivals in the city have certain screenings that are suitable for the younger set, Sprockets is the only one specifically geared towards children. Now entering its eleventh year, the festival brings some of the best films from around the world to our city and last year reached 25,000 youth in Toronto.

Tickets for this year's Family Programme go on sale tomorrow, and I'd recommend buying them early. The Family Programme is a weekend-long festival with workshops, film screenings, and special events geared towards the whole family, all taking place this year at Canada Square.

Members of the public can purchase tickets for school screenings starting on April 4th, so if you won't be able to make it for the Family Programme, I'd recommend at least checking out a few screenings — my personal recommendation is Ole Bornedal's The Substitute, which was a hit at TIFF last year — during the festival.

Tickets for the Family Programme go on sale tomorrow, March 11, and tickets can be purchased from the website or at the TIFFG Box Office at the Manulife Centre.
