Honest Ed's selling off thousands of posters this week

Honest Ed's is selling off a huge stock of posters this week. As the iconic landmark continues to wind down operations in advance of its closure at the end of 2016, it's hosting yet another sale - but this one won't include any of its famous hand painted signs.

This time, the discount emporium will be selling posters from old theatre shows than once belonged to Mirvish Productions. Posters date back decades and, according to CTV, will include Miss Saigon, The Cowboy and the Lady and close to 3,000 others. Prices will start as low as $2 and top out at $100.

The Honest Ed's poster sale takes place this Saturday June 13 from 9am to 6pm at Honest Ed's at Bloor and Bathurst.
