The city is battling another major storm. Did you know that during this storm alone, the city will drop about 10,000,000 kg (that's 10 million!) of salt on our roads? That's about 2000 adult elephants worth. Most Toronto-area school buses are cancelled.

Police have security camera footage of an unidentified person abandoning a still unidentified baby in a shopping mall stairwell. They also have photos of the baby and her clothing, and are appealing to the public to help figure out who she is and who her parents are.

Toronto had a record-breaking year for tourism in 2007. We were the 13th highest in North America for hotel occupancy despite being ranked as the 8th most expensive city to stay in.

Six drug squad officers in Canada's most extensive alleged "bad cop" court case in history have seen all charges tossed after years of legal tennis and no trial. If they're actually guilty then it's a real shame that the crown screwed this up, and if they're innocent then four years of legal hell is sure to have taken an unfair toll.
