Ontarians are losing the global rat race to be fat, rich, and lazed by luxury to several similar American economies. The "prosperity gap" has widened between us and them, but if it's any consolation we continue to "kick the pants out of" Sudan, Bhutan, Cambodia, and several other dissimilar economies.
A huge cat fight sent several women to hospital and left the street riddled with scarves, purses, and a frying pan (that clearly belongs in the kitchen, not on the driveway).
The Argos will not be playing in the Grey Cup at SkyDome this year because they lost to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers this weekend, and there hasn't been a SkyDome for years.
A tycoon from Hong Kong is vying for the title of owner of Toronto's most prestigious (i.e. expensive) condo. The 7,500 sq.foot, 80th floor, $25million penthouse at One Bloor East is in his sights, and will trump Trump's most prestigious (i.e. expensive) $20million perch.
The SIU is involved after a man died after rolling his car on the DVP, fleeing into the nearby woods, and then having a violent altercation with the police.
