Public libraries will once again be open on Sundays, overturning the mayor's cash-saving decision to close them. The closure may have violated library union agreements, and they may be asking for money back as compensation.
Urban sprawl and light pollution in Richmond Hill have rendered an historic UofT telescope so much less effective that the university may sell the property. This same telescope was used to prove of existence of black holes, but it's hard to see space with the overpowering glow coming from the neon signs of Boston Pizza, Home Depot, Indigo, Starbucks, and Walmart.
