Mayor Miller's latest effort to bring more money to the city was brought to an abrupt halt. Yesterday city council voted to delay the decision on new home and vehicle registration taxes until October.

Ho ho hold the development? Steam Whistle brewery's latest attempt to keep Leon's from moving into the historic Roundhouse building involves a proposed injection of $10-million for a larger railway museum.

All roads do not lead to Rome... some lead to the hospital and others to the morgue. The OPP has released a list of danger zones - specific locations along our highway systems that tend to result in higher frequency and/or severity of traffic accidents.

Every month, a TTC rider exiting a streetcar is nailed by a passing car or bike. A one-week safety blitz is underway to remind everyone that these incidents are avoidable.

Nurses across Canada can go to the movies for free this week. Alliance Atlantis is footing the bill for a limited time, to allow nurses to watch Michael Moore's film Sicko at no cost. With all of our nurses at the cinema, we should expect longer wait times at care facilities.
