Lower Bay to be Walkable in May!

I hope everyone's ready for the irregularly scheduled service on the subway this weekend! While the change is likely going to inconvenience a lot of riders, much (digital) ink has been spilled about the prospect of seeing Lower Bay station. And while it's going to be interesting to see the station from a moving train, I think most people would rather walk around the platform itself at their own pace.

According to the National Post, Torontonians will be offered that very opportunity during Doors Open this May! I'm sure lots of people are going to be adding this to their list of of must-see sites during the annual celebration of Toronto's architecture and heritage - I know I will. Between the service interruption and Doors Open, this is the most the public will have seen of the station since 1966.
