Police Issue Ecstasy Warning

Morning Brew: July 28, 2006

Your morning news roundup for Friday, July 28, 2006:

Police have warned teens and parents about an ecstasy pill similar to the one that killed a Ajax girl last week. A better warning may be to stay off the X altogether.

The Royal may have found its saviour. Now let's see if the rest of the Festival theatres can find a similar hope.

There may be no weapons involved, but fist fights kill people too, as proven in Toronto's 44th homicide last night.

Remember, that lost money we talked about earlier this week? Well, someone has claimed it, so stop working on your stories.

It has definitely not been a good week to be a club owner: first The Docks goes dry, and now the Fez Batik's owner is being sued for fraud.

Word of advice: if you find a bomb in your yard, don't throw it in your car and drive it around town. Just saying.

And because I'm truly curious, head on over to Spacing and tell them what you want City Hall to accomplish.
