An art gallery that hides in plain view
Window and micro galleries have become more and more popular in Toronto over the last few years, with notable examples being the opening of Industtrees (now deadpooled), Queen Specific (a 2' by 8' foot window beside Dufflet Pastries) and the somewhat recent relocation of Whippersnapper to a small space at the southern tip of Kensington Market. But before the trend really took off, an inconspicuous studio on Davenport Road, away from the typical stomping grounds of gallery-goers, was already up to some exciting things with their street-facing window.
