Radar: Bullet for Adolf, Tiesto w/ Wolfgang Gartner, Memory & Place, Hope Blossoms, Grindhouse Comedy

THEATRE | Bullet for Adolf
If you aren't already a Woody Harrelson fan (one of the sparse few I'm sure), then his latest undertaking, a stage show called Bullet for Adolf, may just be the thing to sway you. Not just co-writers but protagonists, Harrelson and his dear pal Frankie Hyman share their 30-year friendship through this compelling production, which will only be in Toronto until May 7. Get ready to be transported to a hot Houston summer in 1983.
Hart House Theatre (7 Hart House Circle), 8pm $32 for adults, $18 for seniors/students

MUSIC | Tiesto w/ Wolfgang Gartner
It is no stretch to state that Tiesto is the world's most infamous and widely known DJ. He has been treating both souls and soles of dance lovers for years, with his contagious beats, irresistible builds and delicious hooks. He will be supported tonight at Ricoh Coliseum by Wolfgang Gartner, another DJ who has climbed to gold star status for house fans, bloggers, media and the like. You do not want to miss out on this dance-heavy and sweat-filled live show.
The Ricoh Coliseum (100 Princes Boulevard), 8pm $50-$100

ART | 20/20: Memory & Place
After a year of hard work, and sleepless nights, slaving away to get their portfolios finished, it all comes down to one night - tonight, for 20 budding stars in the Media Studies program at University of Guelph-Humber. 20/20 is an annual photography showcase, and this year's theme of memory and place latches itself onto the distinct experience of each individual presenting. This is a unique opportunity to encounter the work of Toronto's newest talent in the artist community. The show debuts tonight, and runs until April 26.
The Gladstone Gallery (1214 Queen Street West), 7pm Free

FUNDRAISER | Toronto to Japan: Hope Blossoms
It fills the heart to see how many events are happening around the city to support our friends in Japan. Tonight brings together Canadian artists, business leaders, writers, musicians and personalities in one space, on one stage, for one worthwhile cause. Co-chair of Toronto to Japan: Hope Blossoms, Sang Kim says, "It promises to be an evening of laughter and tears," and is sure to be a truly special and memorable evening.
TIFF Bell Lightbox (350 King Street West), 7:30pm $20-$100

COMEDY | Grindhouse Comedy with Headliner Gavin Stephens
Looking to laugh away the April blues? With more crummy days than nice days so far this month, it would be no surprise if you were feeling under the weather and in need of a little comedic infusion. Grindhouse Comedy tonight is exactly the solution to wash those blues away. Mark Debonis, Steve Scholtz, Deb Robinson, Blair Streeter, Chris Locke and Marco Bernardi join headliner Gavin Stephens from Just for Laughs on stage. Burgers, booze, and barrels of laughter await!
Grindhouse Burger Bar (365 King Street West), 9:30pm PWYC
