Radar: This Movie Is Broken screening with Bruce McDonald, CMW Official Opening Party, the Pink Floyd Experience, All The Best Fine Foods welcomes Vikram Vij, Authors at Harbourfront Centre

FILM | An Evening With Bruce McDonald and "This Movie Is Broken"
Bruce McDonald, a Canadian director well known for his films such as "Hard Core Logo", and "Trigger", will be introducing a screening of "This Film Is Broken" tonight at Innis Town Hall. The film, directed by McDonald, features the music of Toronto's very own Broken Social Scene, and its storyline revolves around a BSS show, and a romance between two friends who attend it. There will be a Q&A with Professor Kass Banning, and a "schmooze-fest" in the Innis Cafe following the film.

MUSIC | Breaching Vista, Desperate Union, Finger Eleven CMW Official Opening Party
Canadian Music Week's opening party goes down tonight at The Mod Club. This week long fest has been around since 1981, believe it or not, and provides music lovers with tons of new and exciting sounds to check out, as week as lectures, workshops, meet-and-greets, and more. Tonight's kickoff show will feature Breaching Vista, Finger Eleven, Frankie Whyte and the Dead Idols, and Desperate Union. For more info on Canadian Music week, check out their website.

West Coast culinary legend Vikram Vij will be in Toronto for a book signing this morning, as well promoting his line of frozen vegetarian meals, sold exclusively at All The Best. Vij is known for his masterful hand at traditional Indian cuisine, as well as some innovative fusion served up at Vij's in Vancouver.
