Discovering Bloor West Village, Part 3/7

"Heyyy Youuu Guyyys!"

Attention anyone who grew up in the '80s: your favourite childhood movie has returned to rescue you from bitter adulthood and send you cascading back into goofy nostalgia. Join the family crowd in High Park on Monday evening to catch a free, outdoor screening of Goonies!

Sure, lots of places around the city show free movies in the summer, but High Park's "Movies Under the Stars" series has additional appeal, since the natural setting is somewhat of a quiet retreat, unlike, for example, Dundas Square.

You can catch a different movie every Monday night at 9:00 (but really, Goonies is by far the coolest). The location is south of the main entrance on Bloor St., which is also south of High Park subway station.
