Chuck and Vince Recyling YouTube

Will Chuck and Vince go viral again?

The City of Toronto has released a couple more Chuck and Vince recycling videos on YouTube. Hoping to build on the success of their appeal to recycle unwanted electronics, the two waste aficionados have turned their attention to apartment and condo residents and those with hazardous household waste. The former clip has been up for a couple weeks without apparently attracting much attention (the version I watched has less than 400 views), while the latter, which has been around for three weeks, has pulled in a play-count of just under 2000.

Is it merely a matter of time before these garner more attention or is the series just not as funny as the last hit seemed to indicate? Perhaps it's a bit of both, but without the added kitsch factor of old computers, stereos and telephones, the "we want it" shtick might not be enough to endear viewers to Chuck and Vince's high-jinks.

What do you think of the new installments?
