Comfort Zone Bust

Comfort Zone Busted in Early Morning Raid

On a quiet Sunday morning when most Torontonians were still sleeping off their St. Patrick's Day outings from the night before, party-goers at the notorious Comfort Zone at Spadina and College were bounced by Toronto cops on a massive raid.

Local news sources Citynews and the Toronto Star were quick to cover the story, stating that authorities claimed it was a "routine" sweep. Yes, a "routine" sweep around 6am at a nightclub infamous for illegal after hours activities.

The writers at the National Post however, took their coverage further when they not only focused on the Comfort Zone but also erroneously turned their attention to the Silver Dollar nightclub next door. Dan Burke, booker of the Silver Dollar was quick to defend his club, maintaining that the bust will not affect the operations at the Silver Dollar.
