A Brampton flea market was forced to close on Sunday as vendors and shoppers were left shaking while police conducted their investigation after a gang of armed men pulled off a jewelry heist.

The Conservatives unveiled a new green living initiative yesterday, pledging up to $5000 in grants to homeowners that pay for energy audits and invest in greener technologies and building strategies. The plan acts as a replacement of sorts for the EnerGuide program, which the Tories scrapped last year. Money to protect BC forests was also announced this weekend.

The Blue Mountain community is mourning the loss of 4 teens killed in a terrible car accident yesterday. The drivers of both vehicles remain in hospital in critical condition.

Aluminum-rich Bell Canada utility box covers all over the province are being stolen and sold to scrap metal dealers. A few weeks ago we learned of the disappearance of a bronze statue in Oakville and an arrest was made.
