The Toronto police services board has decided to stop building fences around police stations, finally realizing that police stations are there to serve the community, not shut them out.

Computer Science professor Aaron Hertzmann was chosen as one of five researchers from across North America to join Microsoft Research's New Faculty Fellowship Program, proving once and for all that all the real computer nerds go to U of T.

Toronto's Festival of Art and Design recently launched and runs throughout May. Sadly, none of the events listed include redesigning the festival's website.
