Walking Around My Block.

Every weekend I take a stroll around my 'hood investigating any changes that took place during the work week. I like to be "in the know" with what the butcher, portuguese tart purveyor and burned out convenience store owners are up to.

During these walks I like to capture moments as they appear. I'm fascinated with how the city evolves by what the inhabits add to it. It can be as simple as a flower garden and as complex as a community mural. All pieces combined make for beauty around every corner.

Close your eyes and picture the restaurants, stores and services right in your neighbourhood. I think we'd all be surprised by the number of places we haven't visited yet. I know I can think of a few. What's stopping you? Take a peek in that shoe store or unknown cafe on your corner. There may be hidden gems right under your nose.

Get out there and explore Toronto like you never have before!
